It's not my problem. He's the one that will have to pay a fine if the charge doesn't get dropped. I don't know the details if he had it on himself or if it was just inside his car. He may have forgotten about it but either way it's a stupid move. He'll receive his citation and move on, I don't think his license will be revoked.

I usually have so many loaded firearms in my car I never know where they are. It's a bitch when you have to stop quickly and my Glock ends up around my feet. Then I have to reach down to grab it while weaving down the road with a joint and ski mask in my other hand. It also makes it hard to rob the Beer Vault when I can't easily locate my favorite forgotten handgun...

Owning a firearm is a constitutionally protected INDIVIDUAL right. If he owned it legally, so be it.

I have firearms in my car routinely, and have been pulled over while my firearms are legally stored in my trunk, separate of ammunition ;) ( for you mgopolice).

When asked if there is anything in my vehicle a cop should know about by the police my answer is no. I have zero reason to disclose why my legally transported firearm is in the vehicle. I lived with the blatanty unconstitutional and illegal dc firearms ban.

Good Sparty story! But I thought I the best was earlier this year when their TE Brian Linthicum got into a fight, eluded police, resisted arrest and then gets tasered only to have Dantonio suspend him for 2 spring practices. Talk about inmates running the asylum... Geez

I thought Linthicum was arrested for 3rd degree assault for fighting the guy in the bar and then eluding police. Did he actually fight officers and then get tasered? I didn't know that. If he actually faught the cop, then suspending him for 2 spring practices is ridiculous. Do you have a link?

Sorry SL, I thought I read he resisted arrest apparently not, my bad. According to the State News he was eluding police and they used a taser to subdue him.

Mark Dantonio is such a good man. Don't kick criminals off your team or suspend them from a real game, just don't let them practice. That'll teach him a lesson!

Infraction for a first offense if you have a CCW permit. So why does he miss a "game", but the TE who got tased missed practices? Does FYS have a great and powerful Sliding Scale of Fail?
