Brady is by far the MVP in the league right now.  Dismantling the Jets in prime time with most of the football world watching certainly didn't hurt that perception.  A lot of players are having decent seasons, but I don't see anyone who even belongs in the discussion for MVP besides Brady.  Hopefully, he can guide the Pats to another Super Bowl victory.

Besides, Brady made history on Monday night.  AFAIK, until Tuesday, no opposing coach has ever had a public burial ceremony for the game ball after being beaten as badly as Brady and the Pats beat the Jets.

Good point.  Remember, everyone was touting Michael Vick as league MVP (immediately after his Monday night destruction of the Redskins) until he went up against the vaunted BEARS DEFENSE, just as Brady must do this Sunday.

Everyone said Mike Vick at the halfway point. 25% of the season later, it's all Tom Brady. There's still 25% of the season left... seems premature to be calling the race over. Tom definitely has the lead hitting the backstretch, tho.

But Vick was the front runner until he played the Bears defense. Brady faces the Bears this weekend...hmm?

But seriously, what Brady does is remarkable. Take out Moss and that offense actually starts playing better?? That's just absurd. He's doing it with an All-Pro guy in Wes Welker, but he's more or less a product of what Brady does. Just a remarkable QB who is unquestionably the MVP right now.

8 Picks in the first four rounds. They have a hall of fame QB (which we all know), so a majority of these picks will go to their much maligned defense. The Pats dont mess up draft picks like Millen so they should continue to get better.

Tom Brady is NOT off topic.  Neither is Chad Henne, or any other former Michigan player in the NFL.  I think all former Michigan players are on-topic actually.
