The Daily's Tim Rohan just got to the New York Times a week ago as an intern but he already made a splash by covering the first no-hitter in Mets history. He got his praises sung today by Peter King in Sports Illustrated and Jim Romenesko.
NYT's Pete Thamel also had this to say:
I love that new NYT intern @TimRohan(Michigan import) has Mets duties tonight. He'll handle it with grace and aplomb.#welcome2theshow
If you remember reading his last column at the Daily, an open letter to his mother, he's got the story himself.
We don't always love media around here, but this here is a Michigan Man.

A really well-written article, and surprising given the history of the momeny and his relative youth. Credit should go to the NYT for allowing an intern to pen that story, and kudoes to Rohan for delivering a good story.
