OT: Confess your unpopular opinions

I like Tina Turners music.. that raspy voice grabs me and forces me to suspend the scan feature on my radio. Mike Valenti is right on majority of topics but I think they intentionally screen out knowledgeable and realistic Michigan fans... People who advertise how far they run with stickers in the rear windows of their cars are the most useless people around.... I am not discrediting people who enjoy running.. I have buddies who do iron man triathlons and you wouldn't know it by looking at the rear of their car. I just believe there is scientific proof that people who openly advertise how far and how much they enjoy running exhibit the most fraudulent characteristics in the human species. Thanks for starting this thread.. I feel better now.

- If you think Sam Adams is a craft brewer, you need to seek new adventures.
- Greg Mattison is a good coach, but the whole ZOMG he coached Ray Lewis, Ed Reed thing is overplayed.
- People who only listen to the same music they listened to in college, claiming there is nothing good out there today, are simply lazy.
- Lloyd Carr was a decent coach who won a national title because he had the extreme fortune of landing a once-in-a-program athlete in Charles Woodson.
- I find many Diary posts on the board completely pointless. Adding more charts and graphs doesn't help a bad post.
- Magnum PI is one of the most underrated TV series ever.
- Don't understood appeal of the Fast and Furious movies.
- The whole "We are ND" is a joke that isn't funny any more. The suggestion we are a second tier team in a second tier conference is becoming more difficult to dispute.

I love "jam bands."  They run musical circles around most other pop/rock musicians.  Phish destroys all.

 

I feel better.

I don't like pets. Dogs smell bad and lick your face after licking poo. Quinoa is delicious but I feel guilty for ruining the ancient Andean diet (they sell their quinoa at a profit and then eat junk food). Lots of parents make bad choices for their kids, but I, of course, do not. Too many people worship the cult of Bo and we need to get past that.

I might be the biggest lurker here.  Who else has a join date as old as mine and so few points?

I love Janes Addiction but can't stand "Been Caught Stealing" and can hardly tolerate "Jane Says".   I turn the station when they come on. 

Adam Sandler movies suck.   

Craft beer is overrated and my friends who obsess about it aggravate the shit out of me. 

I prefer having a cat as a pet over a dog.   

 

 

I hate ground meat.  I don't eat burgers or meat sauce in my spaghetti.  Sausage is out of the question.

-Mark Dantonio is the best head coach in the Big 10. Also, Kirk Ferentz is a great head coach and would do amazing things at a school where he had a chance of landing big-time recruits.

-Greg Mattison is overrated as a defensive coordinator. He's good, but not worth the impunity from criticism he gets on this board.

-Anybody who rips on Michael Bay movies is just doing it to sound like a film buff. His movies are extremely entertaining. Every Terrance Malick movie other than Badlands is TERRIBLE. 

-I agree with earlier posters that calling Ohio State "Ohio" sounds contrived and also extremely petty. We get it, we don't like Ohio State. We aren't children. Let's knock off the idiocy.

-I like Cris Collinsworth as a color commentary guy on Sunday Night Football, even though the cool thing to do is to bash him.

-Nick Saban is the best coach in the history of college football.

-The NBA is unwatchable trash and has been since the mid-90's.
