Nice to see Manning do his best Hagerup impersonation on that bobbled snap already.

even though he'd waited his turn to start.  And he came back to speak to the team this fall.  If you didn't catch the video, do.  It should answer any questions about his deep connection to Michigan, even though his treatment may have led to his low draft position (which didn't give him a multimillion dollar start).  'Course that seems to have worked out okay.

My favorite Cinderella story.  So I admit to a very strong connection to Brady, being old enough to have watched him at Michigan and in the few televised preseason minutes he got to play in his rookie year.  Seemed so grateful for the opportunity, and me of little faith assumed that would probably be the last we'd see of him, backing up Bledsoe and all.

At this rate I don't see much of a chance for a comeback. Hopefully I'm wrong and they pull out some mgic. Man I didn't think Denver's offense would handle the Patriots D like they're doing.

Tom Brady did about as much as he could with the limited amount of big play talent around him on the road in mile high with the 30th ranked defense as support.  The Patriots wide recievers are ordinary and the defense is not even that.

Manning played a very good game.  He had time to throw and plenty of weapons.  I will be curious to see what happens on a neutral field against either of the great defenses he has to face.  There is no denying the Broncos assembled one of the all time great offenses and Manning played great.

Agree, but they need to make players sit out more if they go down. A lot of these "injuries" seem oddly timed. Again, they'll never call a penalty, but maybe making it "safer" by making a player sit out more than one play would derail some of the questionable injuries.

Hey Patriots corners....

You think maybe actually...i dunno....LOOKING FOR THE FUCKING BALL EVERY ONCE AND A FUCKING WHILE MIGHT HELP?

Just a thought.

It was a pick.  Not a cheap shot.  Not even close. The Patriots are known for using picks in the passing game as well so its kind of hard to flip out about the Broncos doing it also.

Also even if Talib plays the entire game that doesn't help NE scoring 3 points in the first 3 quarters.

Idle thoughts on this game...

* Brady is still not in sync with his WRs.  This is not surprising due to the fact that he is throwing to Julian Edleman and 3 guys who were greeters at Walmart last week.

* Pats will need to pick up some offensive Playmakers to help Brady next year.  They need some big signings and draft at WR and TE.

* The NFL longest FG should come with an * due to the fact that Denver has an advantage due to the thin air.

* "Omaha...Omaha...!"
