OT: College Football Player Poll: BCS or Playoff System?

Interesting article about how players voted when comparing bowl games to a playoff system...most favor a playoff system when they still have an option to go to a bowl game but if bowl games are completely discarded for a playoff system, the players reject the idea.

!. They'd prefer to be in the playoffs.
2. If not, then go bowling.

They like their all-expenses paid trips and goody bags to wherever, and realize that a playoff could never be so large as to allow as many participants.

They want to end their season with a win. without the bowl system we never would have had this:

Even with a playoff, there will still be bowl games.

I have said all along that a playoff could determine the top two teams by the first or second week of December and that they bowls could be picked and played just as they are now, with the exception that the two teams in the NC game would have earned it. The NCAA needs to stop making excuses and start making true champions.
