OT CMU fans, Lefevour pro day.
I thought some of the CMU fans might be interested in this.

I really hope he does well. I partied a lot at Central back in the day.

Fuckkkkkk I almost forgot about Central Girls.
I was hoping I'd catch a glimpse of Chuck Weis when he was in town. Shouldn't have been TOO hard.

+1 for dropping greenup on us, he went to my highschool a few years before me. Central girls, are the ones I like.........
4.66 40 yd dash. Smokin'. Wish Michigan could draft him.
I have always like Lefevour. I may be wrong, but I believe he will make a good pro QB.
Always thought he would be a good pro. Maybe not a top-line starter out of the gate, but he is as physically talented as Tebow (though certainly not the same size) and, frankly, a better passer. I expect him to be one of those pesky guys who plays forever in the league and is always a winner.
He's 6'3 238, thats pretty close to tebow, if not exact same size.
So he wasn't granted a 10th year of eligibility?
Fun fact: LeFevour was a starter for CMU back when Brian Kelly was there, two coaching moves ago for Kelly.

I was at the Boston College vs CMU game in '06 when the Chips starting senior QB took a big hit and freshman QB LeFevour takes the field and almost beats BC. They probably would have won the game if Kelly hadn't made some bonehead decisions.
i went to that game too, my best friend played for CMU and his little brother. Brian Brunner i think was the QB, and it was like the first or second play on O and he got smuckered. Chips should have won, but Kelly called some stupid formation where its the center and QB, and the line is spread left with the WR behind them. Pissed me off, I was excited cuz the Chips were on ESPN2.
He went for it on a 4 and long from around the CMU 30 early in that game too. Left BC with a short field for absolutely no reason.

My roommate was able to cover the pro day (being a Broadcasting major, he has benefited from many perks relating to all things CMU sports).
Fun Factoid: Fat Weis was there and in good form and he talked to Dan Lefevour for a bit. My roommate wanted to give Weis some words but he unfortunately held back haha
Watching Lefevour these last two years in person, I think he will be a very good NFL QB. He won't start right away, but he may get his chance. He has all the tools necessary to be successful and has a good head on his shoulders.
Wherever he goes he is going to be a good back-up for awhile until he gets his moment and perhaps in Romo-esque form, gain a starting job.

that he struggled in the pro day. His arm wasn't impressive and his deep ball fluttered on him.
