Always thought he would be a good pro. Maybe not a top-line starter out of the gate, but he is as physically talented as Tebow (though certainly not the same size) and, frankly, a better passer. I expect him to be one of those pesky guys who plays forever in the league and is always a winner.

So he wasn't granted a 10th year of eligibility?

Fun fact: LeFevour was a starter for CMU back when Brian Kelly was there, two coaching moves ago for Kelly.

i went to that game too, my best friend played for CMU and his little brother. Brian Brunner i think was the QB, and it was like the first or second play on O and he got smuckered. Chips should have won, but Kelly called some stupid formation where its the center and QB, and the line is spread left with the WR behind them. Pissed me off, I was excited cuz the Chips were on ESPN2.

My roommate was able to cover the pro day (being a Broadcasting major, he has benefited from many perks relating to all things CMU sports).

Fun Factoid: Fat Weis was there and in good form and he talked to Dan Lefevour for a bit. My roommate wanted to give Weis some words but he unfortunately held back haha

Watching Lefevour these last two years in person, I think he will be a very good NFL QB. He won't start right away, but he may get his chance. He has all the tools necessary to be successful and has a good head on his shoulders.

Wherever he goes he is going to be a good back-up for awhile until he gets his moment and perhaps in Romo-esque form, gain a starting job.
