American Dad is nowhere near as bad as either Family Guy or Cleveland.

Eh, I even like some of the new Family Guy.
The only show that has ever successfully left the mother nest (and put the original to shame) was the original Simpsons writers left and started family guy.

Family Guy was created by Seth MacFarlene, not Simpsons writers. And a lot of them think he's kind of a hack. You mean Futurama maybe?

OK, so nobody needs to hear this opinion, but since the thread is here, I might as well share it.
Family Guy is the worst show on television, and I imagine this one isn't much better. If you are an otherwise intelligent, charming, witty person, but you watch Family Guy, I'm sorry. I hate you. Family Guy is lowering American IQs faster than asbestos ever dreamed of.

the show is going to suck when they can't even find funny clips to put in the previews.
What is the deal with the rest of Cleveland's family - he just used to be married and have the one hyperactive child, or at least that's how I remember his character on the original family guy run.
