OT - Clausen Haircut Spat, marginally involves UM

http://www.buzzfeed.com/ktlincoln/an-nfl-quarterbacks-twitter-rant-about-supercuts

so this is pretty strange, but apparently former ND QB Jimmy Clausen has had a bit of an issue with Supercuts.

he suggests that he will let his hair grow out and provides this picture as evidence of how awesome it was:

its hard to tell, but this pic is from the 2008 Michigan game at ND, during this play best i can tell, he hurls a 50 yard bomb to Golden Tate, which he further discusses in his twitter rant. this was RR's first year, if you have wiped it from your memory and ND ends up winning 35-17. is this what the kids call "trolling?"

i don't use the twitter and this is really minor, but i thought jimmy might appreciate some reminders of his previous haircuts vs michigan, like this:

Oh, sure NOW he's going to blame Supercuts.

Has that been his excuse ALL these years?

Not me, please enlighten.  I am also curious about the rings on Master Clausen.  Anybody know what they were from?  I assume two of them are from HS graduation and the promise ring his girlfriend made him wear.

I really have no idea what all his rings are.

Class rings? His Hawaii Bowl victory ring?

But my obviously too obsure reference was to where this guy got them...

Well, Iron Man

Always beats the guy with lots of rings.

And I thought it was pretty clear most of the Avengers were already on our D-Line, so that would make sense....

Though I do like how I turned "obscure" into "obsure".

He always seemed like a little baby to me. Why is he going to Supercuts? That should be his first question. I went to Walmart and my produce seemed old! Duh!

You must have ordered the #4 from Supercuts

Oh, I see you must have ordered the #4.  I ordered that haircut last time.  This time, I went with the #5 haircut special, where a blind woman cuts your hair with a rusty spoon.  I thought it looked a little patchy at first, but I was told that it only looks that way to an un-trained eye.  Oh well, she's the professional.

I Assume...

I assume you mean this one...

With regards to the hair, however, this photo does not quite do something else justice...

It's clear to me now that, among other things, Supercuts left him insufficient hair to achieve the ABC Sports era Fran Tarkenton look...

These are as funny as the photoshop threads... and they're normal pictures.  I bet Clausen's parents are glad he's an marginally-successful QB, at least now they have a SHOT at grandkids.

NFL

He's getting paid $2.5 million dollars to play quarterback, which probably puts him in the top 50 quarterbacks on the planet.  He may have the taste and maturity of a douchey 15-year-old, but simply making the NFL is pretty freaking impressive.
