OT-Cheating Conspiracy charges for 85 OSU Veterinary School Students

SIAP--I don't remember seeing this. Not a ton of info in the article, but it appears that 85 students in OSU's (ytosu) Veterinary School are being charged with cheating. Seems like by the time you get to grad school, you wouldn't be cheating, but apparently not in this case (allegedly). http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/85-face-discipline-over-cheating-at-oh…

My cat's vet is a Buckeye. I knew we should have gone elsewhere, but he seemed nice. He also recommended that my cat be put to sleep (he had feline lukemia). I should have gotten a second opinion from a non-cheating OSU Vet grad.

Look; I don't mean to make light of this acedemic scandal, but there are sattelite camps going on right now that the NCAA needs to monitor.

Goodness. How many people are even enrolled in the school? A few hundred tops? That's gotta be significant percentage of their entire vet school

if they all made it thru 4 years, that would be 650 tops, meaning this was probably 12-15% of the school.  And this is the #5 vet school in the country.

Not too surprising; only surprised it doesn't get found/reported more often.

I have trouble believing that this was a test of any significance. I wouldn't imagine that there's anything more than a reprimand here. I get the feeling that this isn't as sexy as it sounds.

Everybody shares answers on online tests with friends. Not sure how 85 did it unless emails were sent out with answers.
