I guess they put that ad in the paper again - "WANTED: Insane man to take thankless position as head football coach of dysfunctional nightmare. Inquire at UT-Austin campus."

Herman better be great, because Texas is looking more and more like a program in trouble. Strong needed to go, but you look at the last years under Brown and what Strong dealt with, and you see some systemic issues.

If Herman wins games those problems go away. Winning has a way of shutting everyone up because no matter what problems there might be, most people don't want to deal with the potential alternative that involves losing.

For Strong. Must've been tough to have to deal with over the course of the year. Then again, he was paid more than handsomely for his troubles. I kept thinking, man, strong needs one more year and then if he continues to crap the bed, fine. I then saw his record was only one game better than richrod while he was here, and then I thought, ok time to go.
