I just bought a Canon Rebel T1i camera and am really hoping to use it to take pictures of the stadium rededication this Saturday. I have read the Michigan Stadium policy and it doesn't allow any motion picture cameras. While my camera does have video capabilities its not solely a video camera so I was hoping I could still get it in the stadium. I was wondering if anyone else had brought in a camera like this into the stadium in the past, or knew if I could get this in or not? I know I can't bring a camera bag and I know that I am probably just being paranoid but I really don't want to get to the stadium and have to turn back around and miss any part of the game day experience. Sorry to fill up the board with a post like this, I spent an hour looking around the mgoblue.com website for some way to ask the athletic department and maybe its just that I'm bad with technology but I couldn't find anything. Even a number or an email address I may be able to contact would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for any help someone may be able to offer.
yes plz

The policy is vague.
As you state, video cameras are prohibited. Whereas "Small cameras and radios" are expressly permitted.
Just depends on what the usher determines is "small." I certainly wouldn't be bringing one of those two foot long telephoto lenses. Good luck...
