We get it - you want Harbaugh here at UM.
This is going to be a good game, but don't expect it to be an audition for the UM coaching position.

Go Stanford! But as far as Harbaugh goes, not interested. We already have a great coach and his track record (when all is said and done) will prove it.

Gerhart reminds me of another big, tough, fast, hard-running back - Rob Lytle.

TD Stanford. Soon to be 14-0. Amazing how composed Luck is for a redshirt freshman QB. It is fun watching a team play that knows how to get the best out of younger players, with coaches that don't use "bad Februaries" as some form of weird excuse.

When watching other games prompts you to criticize Michigan, you've gone too far off the deep end. Just enjoy this game. It has no relevance to us.

I actually don't see a lot of young players. They are only playing 3 redshirt freshmen on O and D and no true freshmen. http://stanford.rivals.com/cdepthtext.asp?team=STANFORD&TEKey=77&Offens…
9 out of their 22 starters are seniors. What do we have, 5?

That guy is a beast. Kind of uncoventional as your lead RB, but pretty effective.

Just to keep the expectations down a bit, here is the last great Stanford head coach:

oh yeah, guilt by association separated by 10 years is always a valid argument...

I'm just saying, if you are going to laud Harbaugh for what he is doing at Stanford, let's not act like that is 100% proof that he will be able to do it somewhere else.
Sometimes guys win at one place but have a hard time recapturing that magic somewhere else. I think he is a good coach, but he already has some skeletons in his closet that aren't spoken a great of because he coaches at an off-the-radar team (at least until this year) in California. You bring him to UM or ND, and the magnifying glass becomes quite a bit larger.

Cal coming back now 14-10

did you watch the ole miss-lsu game? that had just about everything: converted onsides kick, hb option pass, les(s) miles clock management and more!

The Northwestern-Wisconsin game was also pretty amazing.

34-28 Cal, despite playing without early-season Heisman candidate Jahvid Best. Maybe Harbaugh just doesn't "get" the rivalry.
TomHagan is a dumbass and needs to stop posting these ridiculous Harbaugh updates.

Last minute INT by Andrew Luck did Stanford in. He looked real 'composed' there didn't he?
November 21st, 2009 at 11:08 PM ^
A. Luck - 10/30 157 yards, 0 TD, 1 INT.
Uh?

Harbaugh definitely got the best out of his "young and completely inexperienced team."
I actually have been rooting for Stanford in general (as long as Harbaugh keeps his mouth shut about Michigan). But tomhagan really made it difficult for me to do that today.
Too bad freshman mistakes are not non-existent and completely the fault of the coach. And that is with a redshirt freshman. I bet the extra year of college and being in the program is part of why Luck has played so well this year.
