So, what would be the top five games that you would give anything to witness (regardless of sport, team, etc.)?

5.  UEFA Champions Leauge Final

4.  NASCAR from Pit Road - Was lucky enough to already do this.  I'm not necessarily a NASCAR fan but it was honestly one of the most incredible things I've ever seen/heard.  I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

3.  Stanley Cup Game 7 - Ideally between two original six teams

2.  Ohio State at Michigan (football)

1.  Wimbledon Final - Fed v Nadal...too specific?  Nah.

These lists make me remember how amazing 1996 and 1997 were. Red Wings win Stanley Cup, Michigan hockey wins national title, Red Wings win another Stanley Cup, Michigan football caps off undefeated regular season with win over Ohio State, Woodson wins Heisman, Michigan wins national championship with Rose Bowl victory.

All in a span of, what, 18 months?

A couple I'd like to see before I die but probably won't:

-A meaningful Big 10 game at Crisler where the place is packed with our fans.

-Another NCAA Regional at Yost.  The last few were the best fan experiences I've ever had, hands down.

-A D-IA (or whatever the new name is) college football play-off game.

-Been mentioned many times before, but a Lions Super Bowl

-World Cup Final featuring the US.

1) Michigan kicks the snot out of OSU in crossover game

2) Michigan kicks the snot out of OSU in Big Ten title game the next week.

3) All the newspaper writers and TV analysts that have piled on this program for 3 years are kissing our ass, and praising how bad ass we look.

4) Michigan wins the National Championsip in a total destruction of some traditional power that always has a top 5 recruiting class.  Lets use Texas.

5) The Lions win the Super Bowl and we see Suh raising the Lombardi Trophy in a sea of confetti.

  • US soccer World Cup qualifier on the road at Azteca. Probably the one place on Earth more hostile for any game than Michigan at Ohio State.
  • A Man-U/Arsenal game.
  • Daytona 500.
  • Yankees/Red Sox game at Fenway with the playoffs on the line.
  • Wimbledon men's final.
  • Pete Rose's Hall-of-Fame induction ceremony.
