it came down to a very good rookie punter having, iirc, his worst punt of his early career. After the point they only gained, what, 12 yards for the FG? Should have been an overtime game but bad punt. Rookie mistake but felt it coming somehow. Not the punt but us throwing, leaving them a timeout and a good return or pass to set up a FG. Just felt it.

Reiff came back in after an injury to his backup. Reiff wasn't 100% and the Lions were down to a third stringer at the other tackle spot. The Bengals knew this and sent corner blitzes on the Lions final drive. Sometimes things go against you.

Yeah... When it happened they (CBS) put up a graphic explaining the rule but omitted the line of scrimmage part. While that graphic was up you could hear guys on the pats sideline yelling that he was on or past the line... Which confused me but now it just infuriates me that my lions lost that's to an app state punter and my other team got screwed over by refs/nfl

Peyton Manning is a very un-Manning 11-21 for 120 yards and 2 TDs thus far. By contrast, Andrew Luck is 18-30 for 214 yards and 3 TDs. There are not even 100 yards of rushing in this game between both teams actually.

have a Lombardi trophy that is the direct result of a rule interpretation that was later changed, they're still ahead in the grand scheme.  I do  not feel bad for them.

We're raped all game. What a horrible judges game by the refs. They may have single handily cost Denver that game. I can't believe the calls they made Nd the lack of calls for Denver. Kinda sad to watch.
