OT: Bridgewater Suffers "Serious" Injury

Submitted by uncle leo on

In a non-contact drill.

Could change the dynamics of the NFC North. I really like Teddy's game as a youngen. I think he has the potential to be a very strong QB.

I haven't seen him that much but when I did catch him at Ford Field his arm seemed really weak. Anything to the sideline took forever to get there. Maybe I caught him on a bad day but it seemed like you could be really aggressive against him, especially if he was without AP.

I think they're finishing ahead of the Bears & Lions and behind the Packers regardless of who plays QB. I think they're a wildcard team either way, bc they should get 4 easy wins in the division.

Hate to hear these things. Bridgewater stood to have a truly breakout and exciting year this season, and I love the guy's game. He's a freak athlete with an amazingly accurate arm. Sadly, if the rumors around the severity of the injury are true, the Vikings probably just went from playoff caliber to a .500 team, if lucky with Hill.

I have to wonder if this means AP is gonna have to put the offense on his back. Because Hill is no threat, defenses are gonna sell out on the run, and AP is going to be a sore man. If there was one person on the Vikes that loved Teddy the most, it had to be AP. With him gone, that's gonna be a rough year for AP who already has a lot of miles on his body.

With Teddy and AP the Viking were a dark horse pick to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl.  Not so much now.  Hate to see dudes get hurt.

Damn straight. Hill was the best backup QB I can remember the Lions ever having. Heck he was better than most of their starters. He's much older now but he has a few weapons at his disposal in AP, Rudolph, Diggs, and Treadwell. Their D is legit as well. He'll be asked to manage the game and protect the ball. I guess we'll see what he has left.
