This should shock nobody.
This should shock nobody.
Jeez. His roidy muscles have roidy muscles.
Cushing was just following the advice of one Hulk Hogan...something about eating some vitamins?
As I was watching ESPN, I saw this story come across the news crawl...my first thought was "If I was on the computer, I would definitely be posting the Brian Cushing before and after pictures on an MGoBlog thread"...I realized that if I wasn't already on, that someone would beat me to it. Good show.
look at those NIPPLES
I know a lot of people who went to school with him and supposedly he's been on them since HS.
i eat that shit for breakfast lunch and dinner
You eat pieces of shit for breakfast?
Crap. This will put a hamper on the first couple of tailgates.
IMHO 4 games suspension is not enough
while he was at USC though. Maybe he had that rubber dongy thing. I think it's called the Wizanator.
but to get rid of those embarrassing man-titties.
Of course, it would help to not wear a chintz tablecloth draped seductively around one thigh at your workout.
I agree, one of the most common causes of gynecomastia (male boobs) is steroid use. High on the list is also marijuana. Proceed with caution.
Somehow I first read this as "Brian Cook on 'roids."
It wasn't just you.
He's on brain 'roids. And it shows.
I'm just not sure that he needs that...
read it as "Brian C-r-ushing on Roids" and was expecting some really great UFR some the OSU game and the spring game.
Cushing in hgh school:
Seemed pretty obvious he was on something back then.
What a pansy.
Jesus.... L.T. yesterday, this idiot today. Anybody else want to let us New Jerseyans down?
BTW while I'm writing this I'm waching the fans at Fenway are singing "Sweet Caroline." A recent tradition of theirs. They know Neil Diamond is a New Yorker right? Just sayin'.
Frank Sinatra was born in Hoboken, New Jersey; does that help any?
Ha! Yeah, we love ol' blue eyes. Although he hated Hoboken for some reason. Didn't visit there for decades. Something happened, dunno what. He'd hit other parts of Jersey. Just not there.
It's also the birthplace of baseball and the home of TLC's "Cake Boss."
I'll just preemptively make fun of myself now...
i heard that most of the Jersey Shore kids are really from Staten Island.
Any time that crooked, wild west outfit in Southern Cal takes a hit it's a good day for me. I HATE that program with a passion. Hopeful (but not expecting) the NCAA to bring the hammer down.
After seeing the picture at the top, how in the world did he not get tested positive before this.
but as a Packers fan, hopefully Clay Matthews didn't get into that shit......
Especially after hearing he walked on as a 185 lb. freshman only to transform into a 235 lb. granite pass rush demon by senior year. I guess he had time and the right genes, but the photos made me raise my eyebrow a little.
when Patrick Omameh went from 240 lbs as a SR in HS to 300 lbs in 2 years of college ball in which he gained 60 lbs in 2 years if he was playing for a different team?
He wasn't 240 as a senior, he was 240 as a junior. And he's currently listed at 293. But he didn't just gain 50 lbs, he also grew 3-4 inches. That helps a lot.
reports that Omameh is already at 300 lbs. He was 260 lbs in SR(my bad), but he didn't grow at Michigan. He still gained 40-50 lbs in 2 years. That's still a signficiant weight gain in a short amount of time.
Well, I don't know what reports you heard, but the spring roster lists him at 293. That is just about 2 years removed from HS graduation. According to your 260 in HS stat, that's 33lbs in 2 years. Still impressive, but the big deal about Omameh was that he was a late bloomer and put on weight late in the game. 33lbs over 2 years in substantial, but not roid worthy. I bet Roh and Lewan do soemthing similar.
a couple of players. They said that he's already at least 300 lbs and is still gaining weights.
Plus, GBW has said that he's already at 300 lbs. That's a good 40 lbs of muscle.
If his best friend was the poster boy for roid rumors. How many too-skinny-to-play-WR legacy walk ons end up being first round draft pick LBs? Just voicing my concerns as a Packer fan.
I'm not sure why there's any self-righteousness on this thread.
Michigan was a finalist for Cushing's services. This story could very easily be about how "former Michigan player Brian Cushing started using 'roids in high school," etc. We were close to being the butt of the joke.
Wasn't the whole issue that we did not, in fact offer Cushing when he came to visit (during an unofficial)? This supposedly pissed him off and served as the deal breaker. Maybe we ended up offering him in the end, but that doesn't mean that we would have turned a blind eye had he come to Michigan... you can't assume that.
I know for a fact that Gittleson (dog him all you want) confronted players if he suspected steroid use. In no way did he condone it. He could very well have interjected with Cushing, had he come here.
that's how I remember the story going.. He came to some UM camp over the summer expecting the offer, didn't get it, got all bent out of shape over it, and the rest is history!
I always thought Clay Matthews Jr. was the more likely USC Lb to get caught juicing. Kid walks on at USC, only D1 offer was from Idaho, and he turns into a first round draft choice, outperforming his very highly touted teammates at the combine. Just thought it was weird that he would be so athletic yet not recruited well, when he was obviously a known quantity, as the son of a former NFL player.
Apparently Cushing failed the drug test in September, which means his entire season was tainted. If it were up to me, I'd strip him of his Rookie of the Year Award.
