a terrible blight on our fine country
Not been the best final season of a series that you've seen in a long time. I thought The Wire had that claim but this season on regular television has been great!
It's on at 9 right?
Cannot wait. From everything I hear from the cast it's supposed to live up to the hype.
I love the show and all, but that's like betting on sparty because Mork says they had a good week at practice...
For what it is worth, I'm sure the next hour and fifteen minutes will be even uglier than Michigan playing a low-level MAC foe...
Todd cant cook worth a damn
Mad at myself...
Taking a redeye tonight and will be missing it. i guess here's to hoping for an AMC replay so I can watch it on the in-seat directv.
Flight takes off at 11!
My predictions for the finale. Marie kills Walt. Jesse kills Todd. Can't wait!!
I'd be so pissed if Marie kills Walt
one outta two ain't bad!
I just started watching Season 1 Episode 1 tonight. maybe I'll catch up to the final episode before it starts
Definitely relax and enjoy the ride. It's a great show and it just gets better as it goes
That would ruin everything. Don't watch it if you literally just started.
It gets better every season.
I am the one who knocks!!!!
i cannot think of another one that is more entertaining than this one. what an incredible ride theyve created over the past 5 years
...but I think Gilligan takes a page out of the Bob NewHart series. Walt wakes up in bed with his wife and the whole thing was a bad dream, cancer and all.
Jane Kaczmarek? Is Frankie Muniz going to be there too?
It's like waiting for the Michigan / Ohio game to start.
I really don't want it to end. In my adult life, there are only 3 shows that got to end their own terms that I had actually watched from the 1st episode to the last: Lost, Entourage and now Breaking Bad. I was ready for Entourage to just be over with as it was drastically losing its appeal, and with Lost, I finally just needed it to end so I could get some answers and closure for once in the shows life. With Breaking Bad, I don't want it to end, and am truly not ready for it to end. That's a telltale sign of a greatly done show.
That said, I have my baseless theories, but I honestly have no idea what's going to happen. I can't wait to see how it ends!
Seems like there should be a liveblog somewhere for this.
I declare myself "for" this idea.
Let's see...I hope Heisenberg kills Gretchen, Elliot, Jesse, Uncle Jack and the gang, Lydia, Walter JR., Marie, Skyler, and then I guess he'd have to kill Holly if he kills all of them. Then I hope the show ends with Heisenberg alive.
I don't understand everyone's bloodlust for Gretchen and Elliot. What have they done to deserve to die? Offer to pay Walts medical bills? Distance themselves from a drug kingpin when on a national tv program? Am I missing something? I've seen numerous people calling for their deaths while reading numerous websites and I just don't get it.
Edit: I just now realized you want everyone dead but I've read the Grey matter people need to die stuff and it still confuses me.
Gretchen and Elliot told a lie and bashed Walt on national TV. Elliot made billions of dollars profiting off of Walt's ideas. Gretchen was a bitch to Walt at the restauarant. They need to go.
Walt sold his share of the company. That was his fault. Gretchen was a bitch after Walt was an asshole.
it's like Larry David's HBO movie clear history.
Who are you, Brown Bear? How did you end up at this site?! I just read today about Twitter- bots, that auto post about topics their creators pay to tweet about... is "Brown Bear" a GOP- bot?
Will I log onto all sorts of other sites and find similar pro-wealth sycophantic commentary under that moniker?
LOL No politics!
I hope Walt kills all the nazis and busts Pinkman out and they live happily ever after
Why? Jesse snitched to the cops and almost ruined Walt's life, and is primarily the reason that Hank and Gomez got killed (I'm happy they got killed, but it upset Walt.)
Because Walt is the creator of all the problems in the first place. I hope he had a moment of clarity
Jesse kept on coming back, and Walt made Jesse so much money, saved his life so many times, looked out for him, and pretty much got him off of drugs. Walt did everything for Jesse, and Jesse's idea of paying him back was snitching to the DEA.
I'm pro-Pinkman.. There, I said it.
Yeah. But he also watched his girlfriend die, poisoned Brock, got him into a whole bunch of shit, and manipulated him every step of the way...
Didn't you hear him?! He said he put enough in so that Brock would be perfectly fine in the end. Walt saved Jesse by doing that.
i'd say walt poisoning brock was one of the less morally irreprehensible things he did in this show.
i'd also say walt tended to manipulate jesse cuz jesse was often dumb as hell throughout the show. i'd also say that walt saved jesse's life by letting her die, even though walt did it solely for selfish reasons.
Pinkman would be dead or in prison if it was't for Walt.
For God sakes, Pinkman stole meth and tried selling it at his rehab sessions to recovering addicts. He deserves every bit of misery he got.
You're happy that hank and Gomez were killed? You're messed up in the head.
No, it's because I'm rooting for Walt, and Hank and Gomez almost killed him, and the only way for Walt to continue being Walt was for Hank and Gomez to die.
I can't root for Walt. He's a scumbag. Team Jesse here.
Why do you hate Walt? You do realize that he's providing enough money for his family to never work another day, and to be set when he's dead.
Walt's sense of morality is so fucked up. He is obsessed with power with no sense of being humble of knowing when to ask for help.
if i had only 2 characteristics to sum up walt's shitty morality, i'm pretty sure lack of humility would never even cross my mind.
I got my wish, for the most part
But oh well. I am hoping the cold opening is a flash-back scene of Walt leaving Grey Matter.
I've been trying to think of how this bitch is gonna end all week. And I can honestly say not one of us has a fucking clue. I cannot wait. It's gonna be nuts.
