they were very talented guys who some teams may have avoided because of injuries. all in all being drafted in the 6th/7th rd versus being signed as an UDFA is a minimal difference. if anything it's the freedom to choose which is awesome - you just don't hear your name on tv. again, best of luck to MInor and let's hope he's outside the reach of Angry Hateful Injury God over in Chicago

Wait, Warren had a ton of injuries I never knew about, even though I visit this board on the reg? You learn something new every day. That being said, really glad BMinor is getting shot with the Bears. DW with the Jets is a little bit more concerning given that they have "Revis Island", Antonio "I read at 2nd grade level" Cromartie, and just drafted that kid out of BSU in the first round.

Me likey. Hopefully the injury bug is in his past. I was so hopeful back in '08 that Henne would get drafted by the Bears and I could finally pick up a Bears jersey, but I'd be totally okay with a Minor jersey.

Wish he woulda ended up in Detroit....he could have been a great complimentary running back to best and smith...but I hope the best for him and think he'll def crack there line-up

As a Bears fan, ecstatic with the pickup! Brandon's a great kid and I hope he can avoid the injury bug and get on the field, as a bruising, change of pace back from Forte.

Next to Graham, there wasn't anyone else I want to succeed more than Minor. I want to see Warren do well, of course but I'm really pulling for Minor.

I hope Minor can somehow by the grace of god stay healthy. He is Marion Barber with a bit more wiggle IMO. Hope he can be that physical change of pace back for Chicago good luck Brandon!

really need someone like Minor. I always felt that he could be great if he just stayed healthy. Good luck in Chicago Brandon, and stay healthy! (the greatness will come)

Bears played an undrafted free agent rookie TB out of UCLA quite a bit last year. I know it's a different O.C. in Martz, but he'll be given every chance to prove himself. I hope Minor makes it there, Bears fans love their team and players. He would be Minor-Rage-Loved in Chicago. (But as a Lions fans... I hope he rushes for 1000 but the Bears finish 3-13).

The good news for both Brandon Minor and Greg Matthews is the Bears only had 5 picks in the draft this year. Jerry Angelo, the Bears general manager, is quoted as saying that they will be hanging on to more of these FA signees because of the lack of draft picks this year. I think Matthews has a chance to make the roster and Minor if he takes a liking to special teams (which is expected of 3,4,5 string running backs for Chicago)will make it as well. He has to beat out kaleel Bell from UCLA (A FA signee from last year) and the undersized Garrett Wolf. Should be interesting to watch these guys at training camp this year.
