OT: Bowl Brawl

Submitted by icefins26 on
The teams nearly brawled over the weekend during a “friendly poolside dance competition.” Said one player from Southern Miss: “They started talking trash about us being in Conference USA, [that] we can’t dance… it was stupid. We’ll do our talking on the field. A friendly dance competition and they take it all serious? It’s ridiculous.” If this was a stunt to drive up interest in the bowl game, consider it a moderate success. http://oldnortheast.patch.com/articles/st-pete-beach-bash-ends-after-te…

Just let that run around your head for a minute.  Football, dance-off, not High School Musical.

I used to manage a nightclub on the OSU campus.  Towards the end of my regime there, we had 'rival' B-Boy crews show up on the same nice.  I shit you not, and honest to God, STRAIGHT FACED dance off ensued.  People were dancing in one anothers face, collars popped.  I, being both drunk and not a frat boy, kept walking around asking people if they had got served.  I've never ever seen a spectacle like a dance off.  Truly inspiring...

Everyone knows the Beef 'O' Brady's Bowl is one of the most intense games of the year with its rich tradition and wonderful matchups. If you can't get up for the BEEF 'O' BRADY'S BOWL(!), you don't have a pulse.
