That was just awful

If anything he should've been called for the Intentional Grounding. The way that this game is tailored now to coddle the QB's kind of irks me.

The penalty that was just called on Adalius Thomas was even worse.

I think Polamalu was onto something last year when he called the NFL a pansy league

Maybe the NFL should just put green jerseys on the QBs.
This is terrible! Let them play tackle football!

The absurd part is that in college football, no penalty is called on those plays.
I now have justification for only watching college football: the NFL molly-coddles its QBs.

Yesterday was some ridiculous officiating in both games. I thought the "drop" in the Oakland game was awful, as I don't think he used the ground to help him secure that catch in the least. Then those two roughing the passers were silly. Wilfork literally had his shoulder pads on the man's upper thighs on that, and they called not a late hit, but hitting too low? Am I wrong on that?
Then Thomas doesn't even drive the man into the ground, just wheels him around and throws him (with the ball!), and that's a penalty.
Ridiculous.
