Husker football might be the most bizarre thing on earth.

Every bit of media from that team is more strange than the last.

That cat must be freaking out haha. I really like Nebraska's program. Love their stadium and tunnel walk

Please. Don't call it a game. It's not. And I wish the athletic department would stop leading people on by calling it a spring game.

It's not a game. It hasn't been a game since 2001. It will never be fun for the fans.

I wish they would just make it a Schembechler Hall practice closed off to the public. Then they could run their complete stuff for a full practice. What they did last week was a no-win situation for any party involved.

I will say that it is pretty funny that he made the meme come to life in a way, but then like most cats - mine included - the cat looks rather humiliated, which means that it shall meow graphic threats for the entire drive home as if it had been taken to the vet or any other place out of its "zone". Kudos to Pelini for his sense of humor here.

I think after last year's rant Pelini is at the point of "I dont give a flying f***" in terms of perception of him.  He is just there to coach and everything else at this point is fluff for him.  For me, it makes him more likable even if its some really weird stuff.

Was there any sort of rationale behind this? Or is Pelini just being random as hell while not giving two shits about what people might say (since he'd obviously tell them to "kiss my ass out the fucking door" anyway).

Wish our coach had personality. His biggest claim is wearing short sleeves and refusing to wear headsets while clapping stupidly

... And being a father figure to these kids and creating a family atmosphere that has him recruiting at a high level.

Stop with the 97.1 sound bites. Long sleeves and headsets =/= wins. High level recruiting and a depth chart full of upperclassmen do. We have the first one. And when the second one happens in the next two years I'm gonna be so glad for the herd of pessimists on here to have to look for something else to complain about.

Was this for realz?  Being the interwebz and all, I just can't tell.   And I honestly don't know where the Bo Pelini cat meme first started.  It's all just so surreal.
