OT - Blake Griffin's Dunk on Kendrick Perkins

If we were in season, I wouldn't post an NBA highlight...but this board has been full of a lot of bad news lately. It could be worse, we could be Kendrick Perkins.

I'm not sure why sometimes embeds work in the initial post of a thread...other times they don't. But here's the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3w_Vy0lDk_A&feature=g-logo&context=G2cba001FOAAAAAAAAAA

Embed is below.

...Sigh, there are few words in the English language that can accurately describe that "dunk."

“True loyalty is that quality of service that grows under adversity and expands in defeat. Any street urchin can shout applause in victory, but it takes character to stand fast in defeat. One is noise — the other, loyalty.”

I switch to plain text editor and paste the embed code...just as I did above.

I'm not sure if it's because I have text typed in the "rich text" editor beforehand or what. It's weird.

After the text and coding in the plain text?

For example, this says in plain text-

After the text and coding in the plain text?</p>
<p>
For example, this says in plain text-</p>

It'd have to not be in the middle of any of that.

I'd say after you paste it, go back to rich text, and see if the little box for the video shows up. If that looks good (it usually won't show the actually video, just the red frame), you're probably good to go.

Of course I think the more important thing here is the Griffin wiped his junk on Perkins face on the way to a hoop.  Pretty sure KP isn't going on the air to argue dunk or no dunk.  Pretty sure he would like this to just go away.

Yeah, it's hard to imagine anyone ever topping the Olympics dunk. I'm picturing Frederic Weis sitting in the corner of a room right now, holding his knees and rocking back and forth, mumbling something about getting his feet set for the charge.

I'm pretty sure he did something similar to Novak a couple years ago. He does something like that almost every game. And what Blake is to the dunk, DeAndre Jordan is for the blocked shot. It's fun to be a Clippers fan, for the first time, ever.

It got Novak a nice interview in SI last February for the "Blake Griffin's Poster Boys" article. He comes off as a great sport.

Yeah I guess I don't really get it?  It's a good play that he made it but I'm not sure where dunk comes in.  Semantics I guess but it could just be that I'm tired of seeing 8 dunks on SC's top 10 plays when there's much cooler plays going on.

I can dunk a basketball...I couldn't IMAGINE trying to throw the ball into the rim like Dwight Howard OR Blake Griffin (who does get a little rim).

That is WAY harder than dunking a ball, you have to jump way higher and you could easily miss because you're coming down so hard.

LeBron's was sick, this was just the same...and if you have a chance, turn your speakers all the way up. It sounds so much better. Very Pippen/Ewing.
