Saw that earlier. Fantastic line and probably not far from the truth.

In all sincerity, does anybody NOT think teams like this are going to jam 11 people to the box and make Denard throw the ball to beat them?

I'm not sure you can even put 11 in the box.  If every guy goes man up, Denard can beat his man, and then there is no safety help.

I think teams are going to have to pick their poison, play fundamentally sound and take better angles of pursuit.

I like the idea of teams going all in on stopping Denard. Just have a feeling he's going to be a much better passer. He's going to be so friggin badass we won't be able to refer to him as Weapon X anymore. He'll be Weapon Y.

I assume that people are going to run a lot of zone, perhaps zone blitzes.  Yes?  What are the main pass route combos and few rushing plays that work best against such defensive calls that we can expect Michigan to run?  Is the speed option a constraint play against zone blitzes?

.....on  the formation you employ in the first place.

If I am reading you correctly and you're asking what Michigan would likely do on offense against, say, a Cover Two, then you're already asking linemen (who would possibly be successful in a traditional blitz) to drop into pass coverage, and if you have any speed at WR or, in our case,  QB, you can make some awesome completions all day with the right mismatches on coverage. In other words, a team playing zone against Michigan's offense might be risking a lot. Just an opinion though.
