OT: Bill Belichick Interview With CNBC
Great and insightful interview with coach Belichick. One of the most interesting quotes in the interview to me is "Good players can't overcome bad coaching. It's impossible."
good kids, fortunately, can overcome bad Santas.
Only after they carve a wooden pickle for Santa.
while santa is having sex with mrs. santa
Great movie. So underrated.
It's Mrs. Santa's Sister, right?
Not sure we have much evidence to support that *thinks back to 2008-2014*...nope nothing
Can't fix stupid..
Great interview. You actually get some of his personality, not just the stale toast you get at press conferences. He's a funny guy which you see a little bit but not very often. It's definitely not what's portrayed by the media. I'm sure he's fine with that.
My biggest takeaway was his comments about preparation and execution. It might be a cliche coaching thing, but I definitely try to be prepared for as much as possible every day. From a sports perspective, I thought that the whole not being too simple, but also not being too complicated and creating a plan that you can execute effectively was telling. I do feel that's a lot of how the Patriots succeed.
I found the trusting your best guys thing interesting as well. I don't really re-watch Patriots losses, but I'm at least interested in looking through things to figure out when he trusted lesser guys and it backfired.
Just not fair.
