OT: Better Finish? U-C/Pitt or Ill/FSU?

Or Florida/Bama? Ok, I'm just hoping on that one at this point....

I think I'd have to go with Ill/FSU. When Pitt missed that extra point, I felt so bad for the holder who botched that play. You could almost tell immediately that it was going to be the deciding play in the game (although Pitt had several other chances to put the game away earlier than this). Pitt was so deflated after that PAT attempt failed you knew Cinci was going to put up 7 and end it.

I would have to say they better/craziest finish would be Ill vs FSU but the better game was PITT vs CIN imo but really it could go either way because they were both outstanding. It is gonna be hard for any game today to compete. I do think that the TEX vs NEB game could be good as well. Bo Palini (sp?)defenses always seem to play above their average in big games.

making a point. look at how many posts there are throughout all of these threads that contribute nothing to knowledge, yet get + points. these stupid posts are cluttering the entire thread, and the reason they are there are posters' ridiculous obsessions over mgopoints. yours included.

That two-point conversion will be remembered forever as one of the coolest plays of all time that didn't mean anything in the grand scheme of things.

Did the refs (and replay offical) botch that call? It looked like the WR for Fresno touched the ball first and according to the announcers that should have resulted in an Illegal Touch penalty. I thought that an OL could legally touch a ball and advance it if the ball was touched by a defensive player before the OL touched it regardless of whether a fellow offensive player touched the ball first, but the way the announcers stated the rule it seemed like it should have negated the play.

And they are smart enough to know that playing games later in the year gives you an advantage going into bowl season. Unfortunately, they didn't realize that they would be a trainwreck this season.
