CNN Money posted a list of the top25 places for rich and single places to live. Ann Arbor ranks in at #21 with a 47.7% single and median income of $92,992.
The University of Michigan Wolverines may be a rowdy bunch, but Ann Arbor has plenty to offer beyond sports nuts. Bookworms might find romance at Borders' flagship location, which namesake brothers Tom and Louis opened in 1971 as a used book shop in the academic community. On one of the town's frigid winter days, check out Ann Arbor's Hands-On Museum, which boasts nine unique galleries of more than 250 interactive exhibits, then stay warm at one of the local microbreweries such as Arbor Brewing Co., which takes an eco-friendly approach to making beer. --H.Y.

However, I don't think this is a proper list. Sure the median income is high, but most of the single people are poor students. Perhaps college towns should not be counted. But thought I'd post it anyway to share.

Who comes up with these lists??
