I love Bear, he's great, but in the world of badass survivalists, Survivorman takes the cake.  Bear is much more entertaining to watch, but he has a camera crew.  Survivorman walks around with his own cameras.

If there is a clip of him climbing down a cliff from the bottom of the cliff, that means dude climbed down, set up the camera, climbed BACK UP, then down again.  Now THAT is badass.

But Bear likes wolverines, so he wins again.

Not sure where people get the idea that Bear's show is about surviving.  Survivorman = clearly a show about survival.  Man vs. Wild = a show about falcon punching mother nature.  Les Stroud is a full-grown man, no doubt, but Bear would be a welcome addition to any party stranded in the backcountry.

If by "falcon punch" you mean act a fool between hottub sessions at the local Hotel maybe. I don't doubt Bear's a badass in real life... But on tv he plays an idiot.

Survivorman is quality...

Man vs Wild is a trainwreck. Basically a mix of Fear Factor and Jackass set in the wild (which is often "wild" like "camping" in the back yard).

I'd definitely prefer to be the Wolverine in this video than the chump whose survival depends on their choice of deodorants.

It's good to see Wolverines getting the respect they deserve.
