OT -- Bayern Munchen vs. Man U.
I'm watching a bad stream from SudanTV on my Sopcast player that I'm running on my mac using the Crossover application. I started watching at about the 12 minute mark, and Man. U was already up 2 - 0.
If anyone could provide a (decent) link, that would be greatly appreciated.
Lived in Munich for 4 years as a kid. Gotta be rooting for Bayern.
Can't believe he pulled one over on us all with that Rooney out for at least 3 weeks talk.
Sir Rich Rodriguez
someone may have linked to this, but for those who are at work, and can't really stream video, the Guardian's minute-by-minute reports on all the CL games are quite enjoyable: informative, opinionated and often humorous (in that dry, British manner).

3-0 Man U. Geez Bayern showed up to play...
This is not going well for Bayern.
(EDIT: Quick reply by Bayern. There is life for them in the second half.)
an Istanbul 2005 type of miracle.
3-0 before the half. They'll need 2 away goals and United doesn't look like they'll be conceding anything at all, let alone 2.
So Mike Gundy is starting his own university? Quite ambitious.
I want to see Messi v Rooney in the finals...
almost half. as a man utd fan im SCARED haha. plus wat a dirty fucking move by the bayern defenders to chop deliberately @ rooneys injured ankle.
As a USMNT fan, do I approve? You bet.
Or at least I turn a blind eye to it.
unless it's against your team. Nothing but a yellow and a stern glance from the official I'm sure. That's football. Ask Wenger from Arsenal, though, and the guy should get quartered and hung from London Bridge. :)
Hanging around. Team's got alligator blood.

3-1... come on Bayern!
Any ill effects from that nagging calf?
and they just brought on a substitution for him. Great night for him.
Red for Da Silva... 40 minutes down a man doesn't look good for United.
And we go to Chris Kamara to see who's been sent off:

Actually, it was Rafael.
one of the funniest damn clips I've ever seen... the utter confusion on his face is absolutely priceless and the explanation he gives is even better.
Beautiful corner by Bayern. Bayern leads the aggregate via away goals.
Robben scores on volley off of corner. 3-2. Man U in trouble now with the aggregate at 4-4 and Bayern leading on away goals. 76th minute.
Berbatov and Giggs come on but Rooney was taken out after the red card to Rafael. 81st minute.
And Bayern moves on via the away goals advantage.
4-4 on aggregate. Man U still can't beat a German club. Looks like it'll be Bayern and Lyon.
oh thank god
but I think away goals, at least without any extra time, is a stupid rule. If it's tied on aggregate after regular time, regardless of away goals, why don't they play extra time, or at least silver goal. Then go to away goals after that if need be.
Away goals is a rather arbitrary determinating factor for a major competition.
Playing extra time to decide things on only the second leg would give a huge advantage to whoever plays at home on that leg.
