Cole's not even really struggling. Two light hits bleed through, a check swing for a RBI, and the backup 2nd baseman misses a gimme. This is some bad luck and lack of help.

South Carolina up 2-0 t1.

I understand the argument against it but it's been a long time since the NL won.  He's part of the team that would give them the best chance to win.  The NL could use home field advantage in the WS.  He doesn't have his best stuff tonight but he's through 4 scoreless with 2 k's.  Side note, I can't believe I'm watching a Nats game

EDIT: 5 scorless with 5 k's.  Yikes

DOUBLE EDIT: 6 scoreless with 7 k's.  Double Yikes

Dear Mr. Raburn

Why are you batting 3rd in the lineup tonight? Yes, I know that is were you're boss and my personal hero, Mr. Leyland, has written your name down on the line up card, but why you can't remind Mr. Leyland that you are batting barely above .200 on the season? I like you and all (no homo) but in my eyes, you are simply not hitting well enough this year to justify batting 3rd in the lineup and instead I submit that you should be 7th or 8th.

You're fan,

David from Wyoming.

Here comes the comeback.  Bondo does not have his good stuff tonight.

I really don't understand why the tigers have so much trouble with the Twins every year.

He's approaching Nate Robertson territory, in that if you give him 5 runs he'll find a way to give up 6, and if he does throw 7 innings of 1-run ball, we'll lose 1-0 and everyone will wring their hands and talk about "Poor Jeremy, we just don't give him much run support".

What the fuck is Cabrera doing trying to steal 3rd?

Dammit, the wheels are coming off.  C'mon Tigers!  Rally!!!

Edit: Timely insurance run there by Rayburn.  Now let's see the bullpen shine like it's May all over again!

Cocks were ballin' today. Beat UCLA 7-1. Game drug on forever, 3 hours and about 20 minutes. Seemed a ton longer. Hopefully they play Cock ball tomorrow. Quick and solid. That's not what she said indeed.
