The Houndstooth on University Blvd is the best bar down by the campus.

We just checked into the hotel at 920 and were informed they stop selling booze in 10 minutes. Balls...

We were going to stop and check out the bar scene there. Read this thread...checked hotels.com. $75 bucks for downtown New Orleans tonight. Booked it and decided to power through.

We are spending the night in Tuscaloosa too! Not sure of any bars but we are headed to Dreamland for dinner there...apparently it's amazing!
