Actually, there a Jaws 3D that came out in the early 80s and starred Dennis Quaid and Louis Gossett Jr. I don't think it had a holographic shark as part of the promotion though.
You are correct... I know the movie in and out, and remebered that date since it's my birthday. We all need to be patient. Flying cars are still five years away.

That Cubs World Series championship is not looking too promising though.
promising us flying cars since at least the '64 NY World's Fair, as well as domed cities. In '64, they were promising us flying cars by 2000. I suppose we have to make do with GPS instead.
