the cubs are supposed to win the world series, what the hell?
That info seems to be spreading quickly. Sure wasn't shown in Back to the Future I:

And I'm still waiting for Jaws 3D.
Actually, there a Jaws 3D that came out in the early 80s and starred Dennis Quaid and Louis Gossett Jr. I don't think it had a holographic shark as part of the promotion though.
You are correct... I know the movie in and out, and remebered that date since it's my birthday. We all need to be patient. Flying cars are still five years away.
And hover boards
That Cubs World Series championship is not looking too promising though.
promising us flying cars since at least the '64 NY World's Fair, as well as domed cities. In '64, they were promising us flying cars by 2000. I suppose we have to make do with GPS instead. Edit: Eugene Vidal, Gore Vidal's dad, was on this in the 1930's. There is a brief write-up about the recondite dream of the flying car under the title "Seven flights of fancy that fizzled," here.
Maybe not as sexy as Doc Brown's, but you gotta start somewhere

isn't it "FAA" not "FCC?" or does the FCC do way more than I thought
Can I say yes to both?
Terrafugia [manufacturer] has secured US approval to boost the maximum take-off weight . . . .
Which claims that date is 2015. http://www.11points.com/Movies/11_Predictions_That_Back_to_the_Future_Part_II_Got_Right
you're right. it was october 2015. cubs beat miami in the world series. july 2010 is flat wrong.

Unquestionably, my favorite films of all-time. I can quote them from beginning to end.
I'm calling your bluff.
I wouldn't challenge the nerd level of anyone on this board.
Go to the Cafe 80s and wait for a guy named Griff.
I had hoped that the first time someone told me this, it would be true.
Thanks a lot, OP.
