Whoever is negging you apparently has a sweet sun chest tattoo...
I just assumed it was the stereotypical elderly, loud black news pundit, or the stereotypical angry old white guy.
Either of them would have cause to neg me.

It looks a bit off for some reason, but I like the concept in general.

It looks very generic, like the Create-A-Team function in Madden.

I really like these new uniforms. The pitchfork design is much better than that cartoon devil. Much more intimidating overall. Well done Nike and ASU.
since when is ASU football intimidating? fluke wins every couple of seasons don't count.

The old unis & helmets weren't broke and they didn't need fixin'. This is solely about being able to sell new jerseys and logo crap to the ASU fanbase.

What fanbase? I live out here in the desert and ASU home games (except for Arizona and USC) are sad. Although if I went to school with girls who were universally recognized amongst the hottest in all of the land, perhaps attending crappy Pac-10 football wouldn't be a priority for me either.

I remember watching the 1986 Rose Bowl and really liking their helmets (although by the end of the game I learned to hate them)
I also remember watching the ASU - Arizona game about 5 years ago and saying to a friend "Look how dated and 1980's that helmet looks"
ASU's sun devil highlighter helmet was the teal Eagle Talon of football helmets - so cool and modern at the time, so dated and repulsive in 2010.

This feels like a uniform you see on thos football video games where they don't have the NFLPA authorization, and you have knock-off names and teams. I don't get the need for XTREME uniforms.
Wearing all-black uniforms for home games in the hottest state in the country?
Well this won't end poorly at all.
They play their home games at night.
ithey miss most of the direct sun, but it's still an oven
I bet Steven Threet gave one look at those unis and called it quits on the spot
