OT: Article about Wolverines resurgence
Good article in the seattle times about the resurgence of the wolverines. Talks about their persecucion, struggles, and steady climb back to relevancy.

I was all like, "Why are the talking about our basketball team in the Seattle Times?"

By coincidence, the same thing has been happening around the athletic campus recently.

How did you feel about 3-9, 5-7, and 7-6?

I think you might have gone with "resurgence of wolverines" instead of "the wolverines" if you wanted to be a little clearer.

I'm pretty certain he was trying to be muddy on purpose, considering that he also mentioned the wolverines' "return to relevancy", which is not something you'd say about wild animal populations. we've been trolled! however, as a zoologist, I actually read the article anyway cuz I think animals are fascinating. so ... I win?

the Seattle Times was writing articles about M football or basketball and I thought "Steve Schilling graduated 2 yrs ago, why does Seattle still care?"

the video with the growl is awesome.

The video might be awesome, but the people that took it obviously had no idea of the danger into which they were putting themselves. The condescending, "oh, isn't he cute" tone of voice tells me that they were utterly clueless, and lucky they haven't picked up a "Darwin Award" yet.

the animal. We're sick of the bball resurgence story, but that cute wolverine in the photo is a winner!

An article also out today discussing that there are only 300 left in the lower 48 and that they will be listed as a threatened species....

Add me to the list of those who were suckered in.....good article. It is a shame that the animal no longer exists in Michigan.

Anyone watch the video in the article? The growl on that thing is incredibly fierce. Sounds like one of Gozer's terror dogs -- Zuul or Vinz Clortho.
