ISIS doesn’t have a Navy The Taliban doesn’t have a Navy Al Qaeda doesn’t have a Navy Iraq barely had a Navy I love it when Navy people talk about this game and how often they’ve won it this century. Of course you could focus on this game when you weren’t doing any fighting over the last 16 years. “But Navy SEALs”...yes, they’re awesome, but they’re less than one half of 1% of the entire Navy. What has the rest of the Navy been doing since the War on Terror started? The Army’s been fighting constantly and so have the Marines and the Air Force has provided critical logistical and air support throughout. I can’t root for a service that has done so little and talked so much trash. Have your football game, the Army will keep fighting. -Former Army Officer

I'm rooting for army and thanks for your service. However, you are underestimating the importance of the navy. Yes I get the last 16 years the army has done more, but In ww2 without the Seabees and the Marines we woulda been screwed. You can't just pick a certain number of years and sound sane lol, that's called selective history. Actually it's a blog so you can, Go Army beat Navy!

LOL!!  Aren't you a tough guy?  Play down everyone that serves because they're not you.  Maybe they're not as smart as you because they're not in the direct line of bullet fire while sleeping in a tent with sand spiders, but that doesn't mean that they haven't sacrificed anymore than you have.  They're still not home, they're still not with family, and they're still in a war zone.

So fuck you and your pompous attitude.  And thanks for your service - it means as much as my service did.

So you are saying that the Navy does nothing to protect our freedom and security? How can you be so obtuse? Maybe I missed the /s in your post. Do you have any clue what the Navy does? Our Sailors and Marines (keep in mind that USNA feeds both the Navy and Marine Corps) are deployed 24/7 not only at sea but also in lovely places such as Afghanistan, Iraq, Djibouti, Al Eudid, Bahrain, Kuwait and the list goes on. Just about every member of the Navy got to do at learst one tour in OEF and OIF augmenting the Army (in addition to all of our shipboard deplyments). I spent a year in Iraq myself leading a UAV unit that provided critical Intel to our ground forces. Have you ever spent any time on a ship? It's not exactly a country club life style; that would be the Air Force(......ok just kidding!!).
