OT - Arizona making Sparty look like choir boys

This came up on my Twitter feed and it's a doozy.  Seems like Arizona football has more than a couple swell guys on the roster who (allegedly) decided to go all Sparty and beat women.  This one sounds a good amount worse than the potluck showdown in East Lansing.  I have a feeling that they won't be dealt with in a Dantonio manner:

Yikes... an ugly event for sure.  I hope this doesn't slow Rich Rod down in his efforts.  I don't know the caliber of the players involved.

It might actually speed up the rebuilding process.  He gets a chance to set the tone for discipline, gets the chance to rid himself of some dead weight, and can move forward after making a strong statement (if he indeed does so).

I agree, but hopefully Rich handles that opportunity appropriately. I remember thinking that Dantonio applied very different punishment standards to those who were and weren't expected to contribute on the field (giving second chances to guys like Cunningham and Rucker that weren't as generously offered to others).

I'm pretty sure Rodriguez will deal with these players swiftly and justly.  But on a side note, after reading that article, there are going to be a LOT of women over the next few days who are going to be defending their boyfriends in the next few days.  "I know I have a black eye, Daddy, but I swear my boyfriend's not beating me!"  Yeesh.  The only woman I've ever known of who deserves to be punched in the face is Casey Anthony.

Judge Snyder? He's had it out for me ever since I kinda ran over his dog... only replace the word "kinda" with "repeatedly", and the word "dog" with "son"

I think this goes without saying, but this is a time where RR really needs to take a stand early in his tenure there.  I can't see him dealing with this like Groucho Mark would.

Yeah, I tried to avoid the RichRod mention in the OP, but I'm sure he'll drop some heavy discipline on those kids.  For his many faults, lack of discipline was not an issue.  He'll handle this well.

Hope Rich Rod gives these guys the Feagin treatment. Assuming they're guilty, of course. The first season is always lost under Rich Rod anyway; it's just a matter of how fast and high he can turn it around.

Probably not.

While Auburn's 81 points are far and away the record, the TCU score this year is already the second highest number. I'm thinking that these arrests will put Zona into second place given that there was assault(s) and multiple players arrested. I'm guessing that they will be around 15 points (depending on bonus points). That's still not even close to the 37 points that TCU has.
