"Going forward, the popular logo will be known as "Victory Yosef." The logo will be prominently featured on merchandise available at outlets throughout the region during the holiday season, including Appalachian State's University Bookstore and Sports Fanatic in the Boone Mall."

I don't know if I'd say its UNACCEPTABLE.  It is egregiously dumb.  The fact that we have to routinely talk about decisions DB makes in this manner is so tiring...  I wish he would pull a Bill Martin and just totally disappear.  Its like someone told him he's not allowed to do his job quietly and professionally.

And since when is an authentic American backwoodsman named "Yosef?" That's an Eastern European or Russian name. Real American backswoodmen are named Sam or Willie or Billy Joe or Lemuel or Henry or Levi.

Yosef's a Commie name from the Caucusus.

I like that they're dropping the ultra-slick logo.  It seems like every small school hired the same design firm to come up with logos over the past decade.  They always have that same sort of computerized shading  Consider:

I hope the coaches force the players to watch highlights of that damn game from 2007 and show them what they did to our program, and what will happen if they don't take them seriously.

Despite app state having a bad year this year, they're going to come in with no fear. And it's up to Devin Gardner, Derrick Green, Frank Clark, Jake Ryan and friends MAKE THEM fear this house.

It's definitely interesting to see a college, even one near "Tobacco Road," promote smoking with their logo.  I guess they didn't get the memo from the Surgeon General in the 1960's.  News travels slow there.
