If anyone caught the Red Wings vs Kings game last night, might have noticed that in the third period, an entire section of the lower bowl was empty when the play was in the Red Wings' zone. Apparently it was because some idiots climbed up on the catwalks and almost fell off.

Your thoughts? Did anyone see it, laugh, and think that they were all caught in a long bathroom line like I did (If you have been to Joe Louis, you would understand)? Read what the LA Announcer said and do you think he is very insensitive or just plain funny?

Anyone dumb enough to climb up on a catwalk like that, in the middle of the game, deserves to be mocked more than saying the Wings would get too many men on the ice. In fact, I wish the dumb ass would have fallen. The world already has a surplus of morons.

In retrospect, because nobody got hurt, it is funny. But if someone had fallen, it would have been anything but. Since he had no way of knowing whether the guy would fall or not, I think the comment would qualify as "edgy humor" among friends in a bar but incredibly stupid and insensitive to say when announcing the game on a public media outlet.

I saw it and was reminded of the time when Charlie Sheen bought an entire section's worth of tickets for an Angels game in the hopes of catching a foul ball.

It didn't work.

of the suites and I think it was only 1 guy. I guess he was absolutely hammered and got up in the rafters. They were afraid he would jump so they had to clear out that section. Radio on the way out mentioned that the guy had to get his stomach pumped after they finally got him down. Pretty ridiculous.
