Stanford Robinson becomes the 13th player under Crean to get the boot. IU is still oversigned and has 2 recruits coming in I believe, so expect another transfer soon?

Crean is essentially college basketball's version of Houston Nutt. Oversigns and cuts players while being mediocre at the same time.

Made me happy to see them get wiped out in their first game. Can't stand the Lose-iers in basketball. CREAN!!!!

IU needs to kck this guy to the curb. Crean is in over his head and is making bank to be average, which has never been good enough at IU.

Ok that story counts a few guys as transfers that should not count. Marlin was a walkon that went to like an NAIA school to play. Patterson never qualified. He went a prep yr and then to Syracuse. A lot of those other guys were low end rotation players that wanted to play more elsewhere. The ones that did play didn't transfer bc Crean cut them. The general theme was to get closer to home. Fischer got extremely homesick and transferred mid freshman yr. This is pretty normal across college basketball. Just because it doesn't happen at Michigan doesn't mean that it isn't happening almost everywhere else.

When Terry Hutchens asked him less than a week ago about the possibility of transferring,

Robinson seemed the most surprised by the question. After starting nine games and averaging 16.9 minutes per game a year ago, Robinson had one start and averaged 11.3 minutes this season. He shot 31 percent from the field and missed all 10 of his 3-point shot attempts this season. He averaged 2.9 points per game.

Friday, Robinson scored six points and pulled down four rebounds. He made all three of his shots from the field and played 16 minutes.

“I’m not going anywhere,’’ Robinson said. “I’ll be back.’’

I can't believe that one of the Harbaughs approved of this guy, I wonder if John and Jim share our sentiment...
