OT: Angry Maryland QB-hating God [AMQBHG?]

Submitted by Haxel Rose on

Back-to-back Ron Zook Memorial Dumb Punt of the Week winner Randy Edsall's fightin' Rangoons are down to one quarterback on the roster. Danny O'Brien transferred to be the (backup) Wisconsin QB; CJ Brown, Devin Burns and Perry Hills are out for the season, leaving a linebacker as the backup quarterback. And if they didn't punt and/or miss a 33 yard field goal against NC State, they'd be playing for bowl eligibility this weekend against 1-6 Boston College.

This is why you take a qb every year.

I think the better way to phrase it is he graduated so he could transfer. I might have him and Garett Gilbert confused but one them took like back to back semesters of like 27 credit hours so they could graduate a year early and have 2 years of eligibility.

sweet jesus! 27 credits!?  I took 21 credits one semester so that I didn't have to come back for an extra semester of 3 credits, and my life was hell!  I would wake up in a cold sweat at 3 am and start fanatically studying biochem because I wasn't prepared for an upcoming quiz.

How in the world do you pass 27 credits in a semester?  His classes must have been excessively ea..... oh. right. he plays sports.

Unbelievable, your friend is a robot. He/she only needed 3 semesters at that rate since you only need 120 credits to graduate. Also, I thought the credit load per semester was capped at 21-24 credits (current student weigh in on this.)

when i was in undergrad it was "capped" at 18, but that just meant that you paid an extra 1k/credit if you went over.

i also have a friend who went crazy with a dozens of credits per term at ucla, double majoring in technical fields in 2 years, which he managed by teaching himself everything outside of class and just showing up for exams. you can do it with enough smarts and the right preparation to thrive as an autodidact.

They'll have Caleb Rowe and his 2-2 on passes and his 2 rushing attempts for 10 yards, yes, but at least according to the Baltimore Sun, Randy Edsall is not at all worried about having an LB and TE as backup QBs. After all, they played QB in high school, and as Edsall so confidently put it in an interview, it is like "riding a bike".
