How about Mickey Lolich, Game 2 of the 1968 World Series.

On the road in Busch Stadium St. Louis.  Lolich starts for Detroit, pitches a complete game, allows 1 run on 6 hits with 9 strikeouts.  Detroit wins (they'd otherwise have lost the Series, no doubt)...  And best of all, Lolich hit a home run, which turned out to be the game-winning run.

I'm a Mets fan, and that was a great performance.  I'm a huge fan of Angel Pagan.  I know Carlos Beltran is an all star, but Pagan belongs in the lineup.  If Beltran ever recovers from that surgery, I'm curious to see how Manuel plays it.  If Bay can't step it up, he might be riding pine.

if he were a little more intuned with what was happening.  I was at the game and he was probably only two or three strides from second when he caught the ball.  With the original runner (Livan Hernandez) on second already around third and the original runner(Nyjer Morgan) on first, standing confused on second, all Pagan needed to do was jog to second, step on the bag, and tag Morgan for an unassisted triple play.  And, that my friends, would have been a first:  there've been about a dozen unassisted triple plays, but never one by an outfielder.
