I might never complain about injury to Michigan players again. What are the chances this could happen?

I have to imagine that they will be at least as effective as our second string quarterback

That shit you just took was a better game plan than what happened last night.

a double post, so apparently 2x better than what happened last night.

Converted LB as QB? Hey, Cam Gordon hasn't played QB yet, has he?

100% honest when I say this; I'd rather watch your bathroom habits than watch Bellomy take snaps under center. Wish I was trying to be funny.

Not gonna lie, I thought this thread title meant "Angry Michigan QB Hating God" and that some sort of horrible accident had taken place off the field.

Worse. A horrible accident took place ON the field Saturday night: playing Bellomy.

Come on man the kid's a RS Freshman that got tossed into a huge game, give him a break. I don't mind being critical of our coordinators, but don't trash a kid on our team.

Do we have an update on the extent of Denard's injury?

Makes you wonder what Michigan would do if this kind of thing happened. Imagine Robinson, Bellomy, Gardner, and Kennedy all hurt. What do you do? Off the top of my head, I think Thomas Gordon, Desmond Morgan, Courtney Avery, and Jeremy Gallon all played QB in high school. My instinct would be to give Avery first crack at it as that probably would have a lesser effect on the rest of the team.

is back in vogue at Michigan. It would be Kennedy because the expectation is for the position.
ps I'm fine with the old stubborn coaching as long as the depth chart matches the philosophy

They are on their fifth(5th!!!) string QB there.
October 29th, 2012 at 9:39 AM ^
Well, there's always Vincent Smith, and it would be an alternative to running him up the middle for no gain.

Maybe Devin Gardner can go play for them.

Maryland is my second team, having grown up in Baltimore and its tough to watch, they are a missed 33 yard fg and a blown coverage away from being bowl eligible. I would say just snap the ball the diggs since he is pretty incredible but i'm scared he would somehow just get hurt too.

looks like it's time to roll out the triple option or maybe even the wing-T

The Baltimore Sun seemed to have confirmed that it will be Shawn Petty, the LB, backed up by McMahon, the TE. They do note that Petty ran an option attack in high school, so perhaps Edsall will attempt to channel the Terps inner Air Force against Clemson this week. Still, you don't like to see a situation when teams have a depth chart that requires some form of supplement or addendum due to injuries.

Maybe Danny O'Brien can transfer back to Maryland.

I'd be willing to play some QB. Sign me up, Randy!

That's why you should always take at least 2 QBs in every class.

Am curious about the NCAA's policy on walk-ons, especially given Maryland's circumstances. Could they recruit a walk-on to play QB?
