OT: Amazing rescue story from Japan
Read this story today. Had to post.
http://www.badassoftheweek.com/akaiwa.html
For most of us regular folks, this is the sort of shit that would make us throw up our hands, swear loudly, and resign ourselves to a lifetime of hopeless misery.
But Hideaki Akaiwa isn't a regular guy. He's a fucking insane badass, and he wasn't going to sit back and just let his wife die alone, freezing to death in a miserable water-filled tomb. He was going after her. No matter what.
You must have graduated from the school of redundancy school, though.
i didnt write it, copied and pasted.
From where?
I was about to ask for the link without the OP's commentary.
Pretty sure he was talking about the title of your post
HAHA!! Fixed it
Bad form, man.
I reduced it down to a quote and a link. For future ref: copying and pasting entire works of material is a big no-no.

really? I always hate those post that only supply a link. I thought I was doing a favor. My bad
Forgiven.
It's about two things: 1) copyright, because if we let it stand that makes MGo liable for cp infringement; and 2) netiquette, because if you have a site or a blog and you put time into writing something for that space, and then people copy and paste it and put it somewhere else, you lose all of that readership.
This writer needs to hide his erection a little better
Really? I've got a boner right now and everyone is welcome to see it.
No way
Nate...that is an amazing story. My wife and i are sitting here tearing up reading it. It's amazing what love is capable of.
Try to make it through this without tearin up.

Sometimes you have to punch a tsunami in the face.
It is poorly written. I am sure he wasn't planning on sending it as a college essay. It was kind of annoying however, that kid needs to stay off the computer more often but some parts ill give him were funny. If true that guy is one bad ace.
I couldn't even make it to the end. I'll take the writer's, OP's, and everybody else's word for it that this guy somehow saved his wife and is awesome.

Thanks Mich Faithful I have now soiled and ruined yet another keyboard...for completely different reasons nobody will never believe.
Story: good.
Storyteller: way, way too long-winded.
