It's hard to feel bad for a kid who is going to get a scholly to play at a school where the co-eds have long had a reputation as some of the most gorgeous and available at any college in the US.

I know this is really selfish, but I am sorta hoping for Kelly's NFL dalliance to cause a meltdown at ND.  Maybe Anzalone is the first of many who will revisit their decisions before NSD.

When I read his last name quickly, the first thing I cognitively put together is, "Anal-zone". Regardless, love this ND shadenfreud.

Brian Kelly interviews for another job, leaves the country on a vacation and his players wake up to him possibly leaving ND. I wouldn't doubt it if a couple other recruits do the same thing.

I'm not sure that this had a whole lot to do with Kelly interviewing with the Eagles.  I think it was Mike Farrell about a month or two ago, who said he would be shocked if Anzalone didn't end up flipping to Florida.  It sounds like this was months in the making.

According to a Rivals article from late October, he actually had filled out the early enrollment paperwork at Florida once before, so he was almost gone from ND previously already. After this, of course, as Alligator Army notes, he subsequently reaffirmed his commitment to ND, and now this, of course. Very odd recruitment indeed.

I dont remember where I read this, but Michigan turned Anzalone down for a visit. We were full at LB and were only willing to take Levenberry. Thank goodness. He sure Jordan Payton'ed OSU, and ND.

You probably read it here, but I don't know what other sites you visit.

I liked Anzalone's film at all and wish we'd taken a longer look at him, especially considering we seem to be fishing for another LB now. But oh well, as you said, it might've not been worth the time and hassle as he seems to have had something of a dramatic recruiting process (from the outside).
