Perspective: The Tigers are the hottest hitting team left in the LCS's.

Just checked ESPN.com for a few updates and it makes me sad how ESPN went from an objective source of all things American sports 20 years ago to the Exclusive Yankees Red Sox Lakers Heat Cowboys Tiger Woods Network it is today. As always, the pictures and story aren't about the other teams, but about one of the above. In this case every pic is of a Red Sox player, and the stories are about the Red Sox pitchers or if they can rally. Tigers barely mentioned.
And do Skip Bayless and Smith ever talk about anything not related to the Cowboys? So over ESPN.

A 2-0 series lead headed back to the D could almost get the sour aftertaste of that football game out of my mind for good. Leggo Max!

Anyone know of a stream? VIPBOX and frontrow are letting me down!
October 13th, 2013 at 8:28 PM ^
I find it astonishing that this is the only working stream on the internet right now. Vipxbox and firstrow are bunk so far.
Opting for this in the mean time: http://espn.go.com/espnradio/play

"Austin Jackson with 20 strikeouts this post-season. He is so sick and tired of announcers talking about how many strikeouts he's had this October".
Why bring it up dumbass?

Better yet, stop striking out.

I hate Victorino... Come to mention it, I hate how whiny this team and its fans are.

I'm happy with a split at this point on the road, but Boston will be in big trouble if they go down 0-2 and have to face Fister and Verlander in consecutive days.

October 13th, 2013 at 9:24 PM ^
It's in the Fox Box in the upper left corner. It's right above the out count and alternates with the pitch speed.

Eh, I don't think so.
A: You don't make such a monumental change at this point.
B: Victor provides Prince protection and Prince needs it more.
C: Prince is the power threat, still. You want him behind Miguel because he's more likely to provide 2 runs with 1 swing than Victor is. If Victor is there, he might be more likely to get a basehit, but with Miguel in front of him on the basepaths, that's not the bigger threat.

If not for the pitching, this team would be at home right now.
Well, obviously. This is playoff baseball. Pitching is about 85% of the equation. If you are frustrated with the hitting, how do you think Sox fans feel? How about Dodgers fans? The Tigers are outhitting all three remaining team, so for in the Championship series, actually.
So, I understand it's frustrating, however moving Prince out of a spot he's been in all year is a drastic change and I don't think he's been bad enough to warrant it. I mean, if AJax isn't going anywhere, then nobody is.

If not for the pitching, this team would be at home right now.
More or less true for every playoff team at any time during the playoffs in any year.

acting out adolescents in Boston; the kids there, who were mostly from very poor families, used to call wealthy Bostonians HarBars. I always think of that when I gaze on a Red Sox crowd. Not to be too judgemental, but they have a distinctly different look from your average Detroit crowd, even if most of the people at a Tiger game these days are pretty well-off, too.
