He's being charged with Criminal Mischief, which can carry up to ten years in prison and a 250,000 dollar fine in Alabama.
Also, why the hell hasn't Alabama commented on this? It seems like they should be out there saying that this guy isn't a real Alabama fan, and offering some kind of assistance to Auburn, or at least a kind word. If this was a Michigan "fan" doing something like that at OSU, I would expect a MSC presser about five minutes after the test results came back.

Considering the chronic penchant fans in both EL and Columbus have for vandalizing all thing maize and blue, the likelihood of a TSIO or MSU fan committing a similar crime on the Michigan campus would be a lot higher

Even though he was caught it doesn't really make me feel that much better seeing as how those trees are going to die soon. I'm not a tree hugger but this is still something that stirs strong emotions in me. What a damn shame.
