to tune in to the Clemson @ Florida State game on ABC this Saturday at 8 pm.  Remember all the attention Peyton Manning got last season when yelling "Omaha!  Omaha!" when calling an audible at the line of scrimmage?  Maybe Winston can yell out "F*** her in the p****!"  if changing the play call when he sees what the defensive formation is.

Setting aside that it's Winston (who's probably not a very good person right now), I love this kind of thing.  I love it because it doesn't hurt anyone and it makes it possible that we'll get to see a serious, somber ESPN reporter in a dark room asking an athlete, "Now let's turn to an incident that was reported earlier this year.  Reports said that you stood on a table and said, and I'm quoting here, 'F her right in the P.'  I want to give you an opportunity to clarify that statement and tell our audience about your thoughts on this situation."

I don't care if people think its inappropriate. Some people think giving water to people without water is inappropriate. Some people think having sex with animals in appropriate. We all have different opinons of what is or isn't funny. You don't have to like it, you can be downright pissed about it. But that doesn't mean its a big deal.

think about choosing another meme.

If I was was falsely accused of killing someone with a two by four I'm not going to release a photo of me "planking" a few months after the trial ends.  And not because people don't do planking photos anymore and haven't for years.  Well, fine that too, but mainly because of how easily it could be construed as mocking the victim.

Now, I don't think Winston even thought about that stuff when he did it.  I don't think he was mocking anyone.  But that's sort of the point.  It's just one of those things where the person deserves a slap upside the head followed by "moron."

1. He had a very public accusation -- normal people in a position he was in might be a teeny bit sensitive to that 2. Just because the result of the not so timely/serious "investigation" didn't lead to charges, doesn't mean it didn't happen.

I don't think it's a big deal, either. But you can't compare you, me, and your boys doing dumb shit to the most famous college player in the country and accused rapist yelling about fucking in the pussy. It doesn't bother me in any profound way, but you have to figure people are going to make a big deal about this and the kid should know better.
