Lately it seems like any time I try to access MGoBlog late at night I get the 502 nginx and it's usually resolved my morning. Overnight site maintenance?

Could not sleep last night, therefore checked MGoBlog.   502 Gateway Error prevented me from satiating my late night/early morning appetite.  Therefore could not get back to sleep for worry that very bad things were happening in the MGoWorld.

We need a secondary communication network to assuage our collective fears under such circumstances, lest I run for the safety of my underground bunker and inadvertently eat my year-long supply of freeze-dried food in one night.

Sometimes Brian just likes to fuck with people. Many have gleaned from his writing that there is a sadistic side to being. Luckily, that goes as far as "I'm going to make a bunch of weirdos freak out Monday morning, mwa-hahaha!"

Just when I needed something to distract me from having to work storm duty first thing on a Monday morning thanks to the wind and what happened over the weekend, the site fails me at a critical moment. Well, at a critical moment in my job, the site fails me...or something. Either way, I am glad it is back and that there isn't too much to clean up for the time being.

Like others, I thought something announced in the small hours had finally destroyed MGoBlog.

I was almost positive our entire basketball team declared for the draft or transferred, along with Hoke being fired and Gerg being named his replacement, along with an announcement that Dave Brandon has a game on the moon lined up for 2019. Stupid normal bad gateway.

But shouldn't a thread about what we already know to be true based on the fact that the website is actually working be OT?

And not "META"? I'm a little fuzzy on the ruling here.

Either way, I'm glad it's back. Outlook crashed this morning and I need something to do while I can't get any work done.

(That's what I'm telling my clients, anyway).

Does the 502 in the Bad Gateway message have something to do with having Fort Knox in the 502 area code, or is this just a case of Auric Goldfinger calling out to us from beyond the grave and trying to find a new gateway into Fort Knox?

It's crazy how my habits have changed, relating to this site.

When I received the 502 message today, I also instantly went to Google to see if I could discern the cause.

My cynical heart, beat down by the last few years from the football program, instantly assumes (in this order):

Major Decommit

Major Sudden Scandal

Major Surprise Coaching Change

Major Dave Brandon PR Oops

Arrrgh, what has become of me?

Is the site horrendously slow for anyone else normally?  I have high speed internet (120 mbps) and no problems on any other site, but this one, hit the favorites button and walk away for about 3 to 5 minutes so it can load.  I ctrl + click on threads because it takes so long to load that it takes dramatically less time for me to just shoot down the first page and do that then go tab by tab to see what I want to.
