Is Brazil really this crappy minus Neymar? They've looked like the worst team in the tournament the last two games. Just pathetic
They haven't looked very impressive (at least to the standard they're expected) all tournament. Yes, Neymar did provide some offensive creativity that releaved pressure on the rest of the team, but I think they've finally just run up against real quality opposition at this point and they're showing they are not up to that level.
I, for one, am still furious Brazil somehow got through Colombia. Instead of James Rodriguez & Co against Nationalmannschaft, we got that joke of a blowout game.
Brazil is definitely not worthy of a top-4 finish.

After not losing at home in a competitive game in I think almost 30 years, they lost 2 straight by the combined score of 10-1 with that one being a 90th minute gift from Germany. What a humiliating end to Brazil's run as the host team. That country will never forget this performance
This is much worse. In 1950 they only lost 2-1, and it was in the final - a heartbreaking loss, to be sure, and a shock to an overconfident country, but really nothing to hang your head over.
Germany-Brazil was complete and utter humiliation, followed by a second embarrassment at the hands of the Dutch.
1974 was their last competitive loss at home. They lost a friendly not that long ago to Paraguay. Lots of draws but no losses.
Imagine Michigan going 39 years without losing at home (the actual number of game equivalent would be more like 60 years) and then losing 56-3 and 35-0 in back-to-back games.
Yeah, you'd be devastated.
Actually they played 62 competitive games during their unbeaten streak, so it'd be more like a decade for Michigan football. Still a long time.
